The alcohol in auto fuel dissolved the West System epoxy resin in my KR-2 fuel
tanks in the outer wings; started to leak minutes before the first flight. I
replaced the fiberglass with welded aluminum tanks. No further problems with
fuel.

Steve Bennett broke in my 2180 VW before he shipped it to me. He told me he

My KR-2 is sitting on jack stands. Main wheels are off the airplane. Next
will be the struts: these will come off tomorrow. Don't know when will get the
new struts and proceed to put those on. Making some progress, but slow.
