Great Plains is still around. I have an order that was shipped last week. It
took a few weeks to get it out the door but that has seemed normal for the
month after Oshkosh.
The website does say that the company is for sale again. I think this is the

My KR2 was inspected by a DAR this morning

I posted the HAPI instructions for that ignition to the VW Conversions user
group some years ago. The documentation may help you. I think HAP!'s problems
with the crankshafts got in the way of their ignition becoming popular.
Magneto's were relatively cheaper then too. I ran a HAPI secondary
