Circumstances have changed in my life and, unfortunately, I must sell my
project. This project is 85% complete; it is sanded straight, smooth, and
plumb. For the uninitiated, sanding is a huge part of a composite project.
Additonally this project features:

Good Evening:
I'm cleaning out the garage and I'm selling the KR parts that are no longer
applicable to my project. I've swapped over to Corvair power, so the VW
motor mount is no longer required. The retracts are gone, so the fairings
and the mold for the fairings are available. Additionally, I h
I got a chance on a Corvair (firewall forward) off a Q200 at a very decent
price. Anybody out there with any thoughts on what might be transferable to
a KR and what may be eBay fodder? For reference, this package includes oil

This is a pretty good website also. I think I have the same HVLP gun that you
bought - the "professional" model with the one quart cup. I've shot a lot of
primer-surfacer with it - it works just fine, but it uses a LOT of air. My
compressor ran constantly trying to keep up with the gun. Keep us
I've come up with what I think is a foolproof way to lay a perfect layer of
micro over a roughed-out wing fillet. I should preface this by saying it's
entirely possible that I stole this idea from someone's website or off the KR
digest, but I really can't remember. If I did , I apologize in adva
For those of you mixing micro...
Glad manufacturers resealable plastic containers that are perfect for mixing

Thanks to all for the many fine, instructive responses I received regarding my
camber problems. One thing very comforting about the krnet is the fact that if
you have some kind of problem, it most probably isn't the first time it's
cropped up. I going to try and trick this thing up with the Jim

So I just spent the last couple of months ripping out my retracts, putting in a
Diehl gear assembly, foaming and glassing the resulting holes and today I put
my Matcos on only to find that the camber between the wheels isn't even
remotely close. I sat there in a very pissed off mood measuring an
There's a older gentlemen in Arlington,TX who is looking for a partner to help
him finish off his KR. His name is Ray Goree, and he is a spry 79 years old.
The KR is basically all complete, but a lot of finishing work needs to be done.

If you want to extend the useful life of a patch of cross-linked smooth

maintain workable smooth prime for many, many hours after I've cross-linked

I've got to be honest, I'm not all that nuts about smooth prime. You wind up
Very briefly, I discovered a great little tool for the removal of the mountains
of foam dust that are generated when building a KR - a cheap knock-off
dustbuster. I picked one up at Home Depot - 7 bucks. It will marginally vacuum
up sawdust, but it does a great job of sucking up foam dust. Shop
I have a complete cam-lock retract set-up for sale. It includes everything;

the best - it is a positive lock setup that does not suffer from

I'm in need of a little advice - I just got a set of Matco wheels and brakes
and I'm trying to mate them to a Diehl gear bracket. I've only given this a
cursory look, but it seems that the Matco caliper and the Diehl lower gear
bracket interfere with each other. Is there anyone out with a Matco-
