I have a set on an old KR I bought for parts. Set up for tri-gear. From
what I read, no good for tail dragger.
You can email me for more info if needed. Ken

Well, the 2 people that contacted me concerning my gear have not responded
to me so if no one is interested in this gear I'm putting it back in the
barn until I have time to run it online.

Much thanks to the guys that responded to my concerns about the axle bolt.
As I said, I know squat about aircraft engineering, I'm mostly a motorcycle
guy with a misplaced love of airplanes and flying.
I do find that bikes have a lot in common with aircraft, one case being the

All,
Due to some issues I will not be sending my gear off to have it measured
for possible reproduction. Not a problem with me or the people I was
sending it to. Other issues have arisen. Knowing and respecting Mark's
guidelines on posts, that's all I'm saying.
However, upon disassembly of my gear,
Many thanks for the interest in my nose gear for sale. I will be answering
all of you hopefully today. The response made me wish I had more than 1 to
sell but that is the purpose of this post.
Mark Langford contacted me to see if I would be willing to send my Diehl
gear to Velocity so they could ta
Been reading the posts on nose gears. I bought a non-flying KR several
years ago for engine and parts. It had an 0-200 with a nose gear. If
someone is interested in the nose gear portion of the motor mount I am not
going to use it. It appears complete and undamaged.
If interested contact me off-lis
Another thing Oscar Zuniga did not mention is that the added weight of the
Garmin G 2000 and attachments makes your 4 place aircraft a 3 place
aircraft.
Our CAP Cessna 182's with the G2000 can only fly 3 safely normally and on a
hot day with a full fuel load, better make that 2.
Of course, I am at
I had the good fortune to learn to fly at the Aero Club located at Holloman

Parley,
Not knowing the original color I cannot make that judgement. When I got the
foam it was already 30 years old and now 50.
It is a kind of green with a brown tint. Never been in direct sun but has
had UV exposure I'm sure. Have read about people using other kinds of foam
but unsure about tha
I also have the whole package of the foam. It dates to the 70's. My
question is, is the foam still good to use after all those years? It is
kind of brittle but maybe it was that way when new? Seems awfully easily
dented as well. Even though it will be glassed over I was wondering if it
will provide
All,
I have been in communication with Gabriele since his first post and I think
something must be getting lost in the translations or the email to Italy. I
have sent him pics of a RR canopy and measurements and he asked me to send
them again. Not sure what's going on. I have a spare canopy but not
New to this discussion but I have a question. Why don't more people use
aluminum fuel tanks? I remember reading of people making wing tanks that
laid along the spar out of irrigation pipe of 4-6" diameter. A header tank
similar to the stock glass one could be fabbed up easily as well. It would

Joel LaRock, I didn't see anything wrong in your question and I don't know
what a "review" is, but before doing anything hasty, please check with Mark
Langford, the Admin for the site. Perhaps there has been some
misunderstanding?
