Larry, When did the date get changed from the 3rd ween end in September to
the 4th. We drove from mid Iowa and no one is here. I am really
disappointed as I was hoping to see some of the "old timers" like Jannette,
Marty, JIm and Steve. At least our motel gave us the KR rate. Jim & Karin

There is a KRI flying out of the Chino, California (USA) area which has
a 3300 Jabiru bolted to it's firewall. It is a beautiful installation. In
fact it won the Best Engine Installation at the 2006 KR Gathering in Mount
Vernon, Illinois (USA). The KRI is N5570R and belongs to Richard
I noticed that two KR?s received 1st and 2nd in the Custom Built Wood
category. Congratulations to Steve Glover of Trabuco Canyon, Ca. for his
first place KR-2 and to Jeff Scott of Los Alamos, NM for his second place
KR-2S. It is good to see fellow KR builders bringing honor to the KR.

Karin and I are planning to drive down for Friday and Saturday. Looking forward
to seeing friends that we have known for a long time and make many new ones. I
will be nice to put faces with names we read on the KRNet.

Thanks for the lead, it was a good article, with pictures too. It is great
to see some new innovations. And who knows, maybe we will see a diesel in a
KR some day.Jim
