If it comes down to trashing the airframe, I will figure out a way to get it
from you. Keep me in mind.

I would appreciate some more details on the plane you mentioned. If all else
fails im going to design my own retracts, but if someone else has already got a
set built that would fit my needs i would be more than happy to capitalize lol.

Has anyone considered going with a built up strip spar like is used in a corby
starlet over the standard kr style spar? Im looking into ways to make the
dihedral start at the fuselage instead of at the an of the stub wings and this
seems like the easiest way. I know darren crompton did this with

Darren crompton designed his own spar to turn up at the fuselage sides. He
still used the waf's though. Imma do the same thing but im gonna go with a 1
piece spar. I havent got it all figured out yet but im going to stagger
laminations just like darren did bu im gonna use longer sections. I migh

Instead of doing a 3 piece setup like is in the plans, my spar will be
bent up at the fuselage like Darren Cromptons kr. The only difference
will be, I am gonna do away with the WAFS so everything will be 1
piece. This should create a little more room for fuel in the wings and

I'm not worried about losing stub wing as I am going to be going with
a solid spar on my kr1. Should create anough space within the wings to
move stuff around a bit.

There are no ready made wing skins produced for the AS5046 airfoils. If you
have ready made "skins" they are wither Deihl or Rand RAF airfoil skins.
The only way I can think to Identify your airfoil if the wing is already built
is to print out and AS5046 stub wing template and compare it to yo

Im sorry Darren, i was not clear in my last post. What i meant to say
was, does having the dihedral begin at the fuselage instead of at the
stub wings like a normal KR have any drage reduction benefits? Surely
having that angle where the wings join creates a little drag.

I have been waiting to see pics of your plane with both wings on for
quite a while. I gotta say, your spar mods really do alot for the look
of the bird. Ive wondered if you would get any drag reduction
benifits from losing the joint in the wing. Nicely done sir

Just theoreticall, What do you guys think and aerodynamically optimized Kr1
with the new airfoil and a foot less wing on each side would do straight and
level with a 200 lb pilot... If it had a 180 HP v6 conversion hanging off the
front? Something like the Gk1 but with the better airfoil. The G
If his prop tips were going supersonic wouldnt he be getting that high pitched
