I had been looking at the Nose wheel assembly from NVAero but they appear
to be gone now. Does anyone know of a source for the nose gear assembly or
a good alternative nose gear setup?

I am at a point where I need to make a decision about an Engine.
Does anyone have any experience flying 2 people (380 lbs or so) behind a 80
HP VW?
Does anyone have a Flywheel Drive VW on their KR2?
Am I asking to much from a VW to pull 2 people?
Thanks!

as more
than a single seater, I would say you are "Equipped" to carry more than one
person.
It does not say "if you carrying no more than one person." or "if you are
flying Solo". The regulation focuses on the ability of the plane, not the
number of passengers on
tall
enough for the new tail. In addition, some people like the make the HS
wider.

e accurate then 1/8 or 1/16 while aligning
the the fuselage sides prior to gluing. I have tried making formers and
several clamping mechanisms. Am I being to picky not to accept a 1/16"
difference?

both surfaces and heating it before putting them together
helped. I also found that gusset blocks ARE the strength of the joint. We
could break joints easily by hand without gussets, but with gussets I could
barely break them by kicking them.

Did I read that right Mark? Rolls? :)
Did you do anything special to beef up the structure or is it fine as it is
for simple aerobatics? I see the KR-2 plans say + or - 7G, but what about
the KR2S?

Mark,
Nice documentation on the tanks. I am just getting started on my KR2S but am
interested in the aluminum tanks since it would allow me to run automotive
gas. I did not see any tabs to attach the tanks to the wing spars. How did
you attach these?
Thanks,

think fabricating a longer engine mount is the way to go. Is
this acceptable to fabricate a longer engine mount? Would I add other new
problems other than not being able to use a prefab cowling? How about
excessive weight on the nose gear?
Thanks,

and I will dig it up.
Sounds like maybe you should look for a different EAA chapter. One that has
a tech counselor with a positive and encouraging attitude!
