I imported two rough quarter sawn spruce planks (8" x 3"x 12 feet from memory)
from Canada years ago by ship and had it milled and finished to size by a local
cabinet maker to get all the pieces I needed. There was some wastage due to the
cutting process and rejection due knots/ flitches/ ring c
