So sorry to hear about your off-field landing. The mystery now is what
was going on with the engine.
Sounds like something similar with Jim Morehead's plane. His wasn't an
off-field landing but rather, from what I remember reading, he departed
the runway on roll-out and the nose wheel dug in
Just wanted to say thank you all who gave me the great pointers on the
condition inspection. It was performed yesterday by a great A&P and the plane
passed basically with flying colors (no pun intended). I was quoted at $600,
however after the A&P realized how simple the plane really is, he low

Craig Williams had to put N886MJ down in a corn field Sunday afternoon near
Poplar Grove, Illinois. According to news reports Craig only had minor
