Just wanted to say thank you all who gave me the great pointers on the condition inspection. It was performed yesterday by a great A&P and the plane passed basically with flying colors (no pun intended). I was quoted at $600, however after the A&P realized how simple the plane really is, he lowered it to $400. I also had the entire plane disassembled (except the wings) when he got there, so there was very little time wasted taking the cowling off, etc.
Inspection complete, I can finally start flying again. Thank you all very much!
