Larry:
This will be my first gathering with the KR family. What is the procedure for
those of us that will be driving. I am leaving Dallas early Friday morning and
expect to roll in around 2 PM or so.
Thanks and can't wait to meet everyone.

I think all you have to do is shim up the main gear until level. The shims will
be counted as part of your "Tare" as well as wheel chocks.

Gathering attendees,
I made the trek to Mt.Vernon today to see the Light Sport Expo and to
talk to Chris and Sean (restaurant) and finalize plans for the

The restaurant hours are lunch, Monday thru Friday, closed weekends.

Steph,
It is a great question. I my opinion your location is fine. Neutral or slight
positive is a good thing for takeoffs and landing. Any negative angle would be
bad. For weighing the aircraft - the plane should be level.

Steph,
I don't know whether the fuselage will need to be level or not. For take off,
I don't think it would be a problem unless the nose is going to stay on the
ground and cause a shimmy. However, my bigger concern would be whether you
will be able to land on the mains and not be bumping the

about $2000. Per Revmaster it was on a Quickie in the 1980s but they could
not tell me how many hours it had on it. I spent about $1000 getting it
