I built my engine mount with 0 offset and could not be happier with the
performance of the plane. The o-200 mounts are rubber so they have a tendency
to sag a bit. On final installation I just added an extra washer behind the
bottom mounts to put the thrust line back level. She flies straight an

Most people just build the mount with no compensation for engine torque.
There are so many other factors that something else is likely to
cancel it out, and if not, that's what trim tabs are used for. You
could always stack washers or other spacers under the appropriate mount
corners

up the power from the propellers

Nothing in the plans call for an engine "off-set". My 0-200 with a 60
inch prop
