"One has one of three options,
1. Move the engine forward
2. Move the seats forward
3. Move the tail forward"

Seems to me option 3 would be the easiest choice?
I'm a humorist-pilot not a builder-pilot so certain things that at first
glance seem easy are perhaps not :-)
Mark offered choice no. 1 for dealing with a light engine as "move the engine
forward". I think the classic example of this that I've seen over the years is
Mike Ladigo's turbine-powered KR 1.5, here:

firewall-to-prop-flange distance is
It's alot easier having multiple judges because they do their own inspections
and then they come together and talk about it. That's why one of the trophies
is called "JudgeS Choice". Just my opinion.

Rob, Marvin (Marv) More from your chapter. The one that's going to be doing
the Wing safety seminar is an Oshkosh judge also. Maybe we can ask him.

John,
Web site looks great, I do have a change for you on the Judge. Mark Burrow had
a last minute conflict and the Judging will now be done by;
Kit Lindsay
Kit is also a member of our EAA chapter, and has done judging at Oshkosh
Airventure.
Thanks,
Rob
