The Polliwagon stirred up a lot of interest at the time but didn't
survive. Once Ken Rand & Stu Robinson paved the way with composite
construction all sorts of interesting things began to happen. The
VariEze came out two years after the KR and we all know what a phenomenon
Rutan's designs became.

Not likely. It's a Polliwagon. Short lived homebuilt. I believe it
killed its designer. There will be something about it in the Sport
Aviation archives. I probably have a copy of it here somewhere. Handling
