I really wouldn't mind managing the KR Gathering web site for the group. I
would like to get the KRGathering.org domain name back, but don't know if it's
available yet. Probably the biggest problem for me to set it up is to zip up
and download all the photos from the previous gatherings curren

Thanks Mike;
I noticed that there are no pictures of the 2014 Gathering.
I can forward the pictures from these two "quick and dirty"? slideshows that I
put together immediately after each day of? the 2014 gathering should anyone be
willing to post some of them on the web site.

I did not thin them out. I dialed in the flex I thought would work by reducing
the width. I read of an earlier KR2 which the builder simply cut the leg down
the middle. He said they worked just fine. His KR was a 900 # plane. From that
point I knew my plane was going towards the 1250 # GW range.
You also need to add a registration that gets updated when submitted and
probably should have it set up to take payment for items ordered, so the
host does not get left holding the bag.

they both come up but the archive photos on krgathering.com, steve's site I
guess, are broken links. maybe since we have a working site, steve can just
delete the old gatherings pages and leave the financial, and the other site can
link to it. I found the financial listings very informative an

All of these comments and this coverage sure makes me homesick!
For MANY years I lived in MMV and worked in an upstairs corner office of the
large corporate facility (not so loosely associated with the large museum
across the street) located right next door. Seem to recall even turning more

However you do it, the site should not be under one individual in the future.
This is another good reason to have an "organization".

It won't be my call but, as a member of the steering committee, my

Both of those sites work fine for me.

In building my KR-1?, Ken extended the fuselage ahead of the spar and
also extended it to the rear. IIRC it was 6 inches to the front to
accomodate Ken's long legs and to the rear "an extra bay", whatever that
amounts to. It's 15 feet 9 inches in length, so it's not all that long
overall but with

I'll get on that after I make some progress working on my KR today!

I spoke with Mark about being his backup. Since he has the KRNet.Org domain
name, it makes sense to have a backup admin. Mark, whenever you're ready I
can port the KRGathering stuff to the KRNet.Org site as a set of subpages.
Then accessing that collection will just be more pages on the same site.

That was sure a great picture. I can't recall who it was that went
through the trouble of getting us all set up for that photo but thank you
again, whoever you are, for having such skill and patience.

I left KR gathering.com so I could put the financial report there. For the
gathering this year they wanted to take care of their own site. I haven't heard
whether Larry wants to use the.com address or just continue to use the other.
