THAT is one cool story and I have shared it around.
When I bought my first KR1 kit in 1989, I planned to use the full length Diehl
skins making a KR1B essentially, build in about 50 gals fuel, and fly around
the globe just like Colin.
Well life got in the way and so far I have only done one coast

Don, if you're not in a big hurry to sell the airplane, you might consider
taking it out of storage towards the end of summer, dusting everything off,
putting it on a trail
