THAT is one cool story and I have shared it around. When I bought my first KR1 kit in 1989, I planned to use the full length Diehl skins making a KR1B essentially, build in about 50 gals fuel, and fly around the globe just like Colin. Well life got in the way and so far I have only done one coast to coast. I would be terrified to overfly some of the Earth now because a engine-out landing could easily result in a beheading or whatever. Nonetheless, Colin is living my dream quite nicely, and I loved the blog and the video! In a KR no less!!!! Chris
