Another option is camlock fasteners. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 1/4 turn and it's on. ?A

For whatever reason, many RV guys choose to force the hinge pins that
fasten top to bottom cowling halves through the tight curve
Been toying with the pitot design a little and decided to go as simple ad
possible.
Been struggling with how to mount the cowl when the time came. Saw several
examples using hinge sections, while nice, looks to me to be a hassle if
not pretty straight. I'm not exactly into the impractical.

After rereading your message, I guess you meant to use the firewall
"flange" to fasten the cowling to as well, so obviously .040" thick
material may not be enough for that job. I'd use something like

Gary; I've noticed that ebay and Amazon shopping are setting a new standard
for speed of service in specialty retail. This is all happening at great cost
to small shops and brick-and-morter businesses. I don't think you have been
unreasonable, and would like you to hang on here, but Steve is

Well said Bob.
Steve, as Bob said, your efforts for the KR community are appreciated,
including by those of us who have not been customers. I hope that even
though you're no longer planning to run Nvaero your wisdom and experience
will still be available to the KR community in some form. I wish
