There are chemicals used to line fuel tanks (mostly for motorcycles) that are designed to both prevent leaks and isolate corrosion in the tank from contaminating the fuel. Check your local motorcycle dealer or hot rod shop... it may work on plastic (PVC, etc.) as well. Mark W. N952MW (res) -O
