Dan, I would look into this a little more. The dipstick heater is made for
an auto engine with a long dipstick. Make sure you can still get the heat if
you cut it shorter.

I built one using a small square electric heater. I put an aluminum plenum
on the front of it with a 2" hose flange on the front and a 2" "heat relief"
hole back near the heater. Without the relief hole, it would cut off due to
overheating. Now I just put the SCAT hose from the plenum into the o
