The correct size Ellison for the < 80 HP VW, is the EFS-2, which is no longer manufactured. I understand that Rotec makes one that is similar and in the EFS-2 size. I have heard or read that the EFS-3A, the $1300 one, can be used on the smaller engines, but have never known anyone to try it and r

At first, I thought you must be looking for something less expensive, but that is clearly not the case. The specs say that it is similar to T-88. A fuselage glued with T-88 needs no additional re-enforcement. I use it for all structural needs and do not add anything to "help" it out. I have nev
