Somewhat interesting.This is some chatter between MII pilots(I own an M1) Thorp T-18 was Widened which became the S-18 (think it was)I remember a designer once saying that the widest point of the wing, should not be at (intersect with) the widest point on the fuselage..CldLk-Tim

I removed the filter element from my ACS 10580 gascolator for cleaning and inspection as part of a Condition Inspection. There were no debris in the bowl. When I attempted to reinstall the filter and bowl, the filter started to crumble. That does not seem to be a desirable quality for a micro
