Subject: Instrument panel space
Dave;
Since I have my Kr-2 in the garage, I went out and measured the distance
from the back of the instrument panel to the back edge of the header tank,
this measurement is 6.5 inches.

Hi Glenn, thanks for the comments. I re-read your posting and hadn't
caught the comment about the 8X before. I've been in the radio racket
for about 40 years, and hold a FCC commercial with radar endorsement.
Coax has been my friend (and enemy) for a long time!

I think 9" may be a bit too much to ask for. I had a stock tank and could
not install the 2.25" Becker radio. Don't remember how deep it was.

I should be out at my hanger today. I will try to get those measurements but I
think there is nine inches but probably not much more. I guess there could be
variations depending on how you construct the tank.

I have Matco, I drilled the axle, as per the KR instructions, made a "C"
clip to replace the split pin through the bearin
