List-Post: krnet@list.krnet.org Date: Sunday, Dec.4,2011 Subject: Instrument panel space
Dave; Since I have my Kr-2 in the garage, I went out and measured the distance from the back of the instrument panel to the back edge of the header tank, this measurement is 6.5 inches. My plane is a plans built aircraft and the fuel tank is made of fiberglass with a cut out on the right side for the transponder, this cutout measures, 7"wide X 7.5" deep X 2.5 inches height. The tank hold 20 gals, has a self designed/built capacitive fuel gage installed and works great. Hope this information is of use. How likely is it that I'll be able to install a 9" deep instrument ('EFIS Sport' PFD) with the stock fuel tank config? _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
