I laminated the the 78 layers for the gear legs on

I'm using hand selected western hemlock with better than 1:15 grain
deviation,
which, according to AC 43.13-1B, can be used as a direct replacement for
Sitka Spruce..

I will be flying to the gathering in my Grumman and can take one passenger. My
plans are to leave 04TN (near GCY) Thursday midmorning to MVN then depart MVN
Sunday morning return to 04TN. Of course my plans are dependent upon weather as
