KR> Canopy latch

2010-12-30 Thread Glenn Martin
I just had one of those "AHA!" moments. I want a canopy latch which I can open from the inside or outside, is solid and can be locked. Simple solution: Junkyard trip for a suitable automobile trunk latch mechanism. -- Glenn Martin KR2 N1333A "Guardian Sngel" N1333A.Webs.Com Biloxi, MS, 39532 re

I've had TruTrak's ADI with GPS readout for about three years in bad weather and good and it's been perfect. Even at this late date, if I wanted to upgrade to an EFIS or add an autopilot, TruTrak would give me full credit for what I paid for the ADI. Their customer service is amazing - check Van'

I need to verify the fuel flow rate on my KR-2. The VW 2180 would burn about 6 gallons per hour full throttle 3600 RPM, full rich, max climb rate at 14 degrees AOA. FAA says there must be a 50 percent safety factor. So, need to verify 9 gallon per hour fuel flow. I cannot just fly to see if

My input would be the Dynon systems are hard to beat. Easy to install (from personal experiences). Very easy to operate (for the stick-ape in all of us). More features than even a control freak can use up. Great price (from sources other than AS). Can be used for IFR (with a back-up). N

Dynon is beautiful but never go with Grand Rapids unless you love the challenge of outrageous complexity and the stress when it quits when you need it the most. Craig, Just a suggetion but the Dynon really gives you everthing you would need for VFR + with the attitude indicator. Keep it simple. For backup, you can use a GPS for altitude, direction and ground speed. Now that I have a D6 in my KR2S, and if I had to do it all over, I would just have us
