Dynon is beautiful but never go with Grand Rapids unless you love the challenge of outrageous complexity and the stress when it quits when you need it the most. The KR I have for sale has a beautiful panel including a 3 axis auto pilot but unless you want all that stuff the Dynon is a wonderfully simple way to go. la...@lebanair.com

Keep it simple. For backup, you can use a GPS for altitude, direction and ground speed. Now that I have a D6 in my KR2S, and if I had to do it all over, I would just have use only a D6 in the 1st place. Room it pretty scarce in a KR panel. I also love the attitude indicator. Never knew this untill I started flying as much as I do now and get close to a cloud every now and then. I tried to stay with the standard T configuration but I have room to move and mix. My thinking right now is to make this main panel all flight instrumentation and put the engine and nav displays to the sides. Nav CRT on left and eng steam gauges on right. Take a look and I sure would like to get your thoughts on panel layouts. http://www.kr2seafury.com/resources/mynewpanel_ver1.jpg http://www.kr2seafury.com/resources/mynewpanel_ver2.jpg http://www.kr2seafury.com/resources/mynewpanel_ver3.jpg Thanks Craig www.kr2seafury.com _______________________________________ Search the KRnet Archives at http://www.maddyhome.com/krsrch/index.jsp to UNsubscribe from KRnet, send a message to krnet-le...@mylist.net please see other KRnet info at http://www.krnet.org/info.html
