Certainly does, but it either that, or get the screws so buggered up that
they sometimes will not come out. One of our RV guys suggested Boe-Lube,
and that works for a while, but wears off, and still does not make it easy
to screw and un-screw. For an inspection plate, you must be able to get it

Doesn't that ruin the self-locking feature of the nut? It is my understanding
that both plain and floating all metal nutplates ae made by the same process as

You can do that, but riveting them directly to the aileron spar works just
fine. Why FLOX I know some people do it that way, but then, you can get
the problem you have. I don't think rivets will ever come loose. Also, if you
run the tap through the anchor nuts, you will have less of a ch
