In a motorglider one is caught between a stone and a hard place.Ample
cooling,intakes,eyebrows, vertical gills, are fine to cool the engine but when
you stand on the wingtip and corkscrew up in a thermal,engine off,the drag of
this cooling will degrade the gliding performance and worse
