Good morning Randy & Eric,
Let me get in this band wagon.
I'm also at the stage where the final decision on power plant must be made.
I've got an EA81T, as it was cut from some donor car. That means that I
still have a lot to do before the engine can be mounted.
I would love to buy your motor m
Hi Guys,
Wow, is Christmas coming, or WHAT?
First we see the impressive cad work from Gunnar, and now Beni (Benito
Baldominos) is giving us a present.
Beni, congrats with that beauty you've built. That surely is an example of
what can be done.
Just seeing those pics make the plane scream "SPEED

Hi Marc. I think Sam built three. I think one he donated to his local
museum there in Kansas. Another one is owned by Ken Cottle and has been
much improved, and you've got the third. I've seen your plane when it
was based at KSDM. Are

Fred,
I was given a site where I could look at the different airfoils and compare
one on top of another. I have decided on the RAF48.
Thanks for your offer--I really appreciated it.

I took the easy way out. I bought two adjustable "plastic" saw horses at
Home Depot (adjustable from 30" - 37" in height): ~$40. Then I got a 16 foot
extension ladder (on sale) for ~$60. Bought 2 4' X 4' X 5/8" of particle

Hi Gunnar.
Just a quick email to let you know how impressive your design work on the KR
looks.
Your rendered images are the first CAD images I have seen that bring the
aircraft to life.
The only way my carbon fiber covered KR could look that shiny in black would
be if I left it out in the rain!

I would think the new Continental 0-200D would be a good engine for the KR. I
haven't seen a price, but I am sure it is crazy expensive. The 3300 isn't
cheap either.

What is your location? I have a building table that I would like to sell
distance could make it unreasonable even tho' I'd sell cheap. It is in two
parts so can be used for the long things and then pull a pin and shortened for
the lesser length items or as a good work bench. If interest

I believe Ken Thomas's KR2S is now powered by a Jabaru but I can't remember if
it was the 2200 or the 3300. You can see his plane under the "Completed List"

screwed them together with 3/4" ply (Euro Birch) on the bottom and then have
