I hate it, but I am going to have to drive ( BiG Bummer ), to Mt. Vernon
this year, just after getting the plane and engine in great condition for a
long cross country.
Oh well, a drive in Gathering is better than no Gathering at all. Will

I just checked and "Big Chief No Cloud" has done his dance. Through
Saturday morning (as far as my site goes out) nothing but sunshine,
upper 50's for lows, low 80's for highs, winds out of the NNE less than
ten and chance of precipitation 12% or less. I s
I drove cross country from Scappoose Ore. And arrived this morning in Mt.
Vernon for the gathering. I hope the weather Gods do cooperate.
