While I have your attention, Now that the weather is getting better I hope
everyone is either working on their project or if you are past that phase I
hope you are having a great time in the air.
Not necessarily "forgetting" Jim. Just didn't have my log book handy and have
been busy with work as I am not retired. My BFR is due. Maybe you shouldn't
wait for me to get up there.

straight cam gear, all new bearings, new rods and pistons. I ran it for the
first time on Monday, and was very depressed, after having done all that
work and spent a gob of money, only to have an engine that was still
sputtering
I agree; I took my discharge from the Marine Corps on Treasure Island in
late August and daytime highs were upper 50's lower 60's. Having spent time
in Thailand when the temps were low 100's with 90%+ RHI, it was quite a
change.
