I am looking at buying a local KR2 with an O-200 on it. It needs a little
work. It does have some spring gear on it, but it is a tail dragger and I
need to convert it to a tri gear. Any information on this would be

it since I've been home. Most days have been raining, windy, or downright
tornadic. I went out to fly Wednesday and the windsock was gone completely.

I have the NACA vents in the side of the cockpit wall - the work OK it the
temps are not higher than the 80's - I added leading edge vents that are
plumbed to eye ball vents - they work great, but I also added a exhaust
outlet in the back of the fuselage at the same time to create a "thru"

I know that someone used a leading edge air inlet do drive a gyro, but have
never seen any for cockpit air. Don't know why it would not work quite
well. I have my vents in the cowling, and it is a bit bothersome to
disconnect and connect each time I take the bottom cowl off.
