I am not sure how many times we removed Less Palmer's bolts before the plane was finely left at the airport. We could install the wings in about 20 min and remove them in about 15 min. The thing to remember is replace the Teflon castle nuts each time. We had a couple of blocks of Styrofoam that

Glen, I converted N6242 from conventional plans-built retracts to fixed tri-gear using Dan Diehl standard mains and nose gear. Gear installation is per Diehl instructions. Have 11x4.5-5 Lamb (Shin) for mains and 3.4x3.0-5 on the nose. Engine is a stock Great Plains 2180 VW with 3/4-inch spacers
