But I think that the last the firstrun parameter should go to a

I think it's better to have it as an attribute (can be a little more
complicated). Since if move that code to a plugin, we may need to be
able to control the behaviour from designer, and more importantly we
need to be able to use it depending on the configuration (I think).

For me the bench is wrong, since the method signatures are not comparable.
And I find it normal that it's more harder to parse the second one
since there are more needed spaces and characters.
Do you have results with the same signatures, but one with nominal,
and the other with some extra spaces ?
I commited the first patch, since it looks much what I thinks is good.
If you have time, think about making the last bool an attribute.

Hi,
I would like to propose the separation of libkopete in to part.
The libkopete (core) which would contains the core objects.
And libkopeteui which would contains all the gui stuff from
libkopete/ui, libkopete/private, libkopete/avdevice and some of the
kopete application ui (for the default ui)
Try to make a real clean, make clean may not be enought, cmake is a
retard sometimes.
Else you probabily triggered a bug with kde4_install_libtool_file
because of one of the option you use.
