I am trying to configure SIP2 in koha and I followed the link:

I think Circulation & Fine Rules is the right place, but I'd like to see it
based on combination of patron type and item type:
Teacher can renew normal books 12 times, but audio books only 3 times.
Students can renew normal books 3 times, but can't renew audio books.

You have to add the user you want to the the SIPserver.xml file for there to
be a SIP account for them to use, then restart the SIPserver.
It should NOT be your kohaadmin (or koha "root") account from koha-conf.xml,
because that is not a real user. That is, there is no entry in the borrwers
table

If it's on the Circ & Fine Rules page (as I think it should be) then
it will be based on the patron type & the item type.
Eric,
You are right - right now the only way to set renewals is by item type
... not patron type.
Sounds like a good enhancement project to me :)

BTW: nothing has changed with this Plone site
with respect to how we
demonstrate Koha ... LibLime has been faithfully providing stable,
public, free, demos for the community for years. So that's nothing new
and I'm not sure how it relates to the website update.

After some thought, I have a suggestion for how to order the the
listings on the pay for page which I hope is both fair, accurate, has
longevity, and is useful to the people visiting the page for whom we're
providing the info.
In the past we've ordered by region and we've ordered
