Dear Mason
In fact I downloaded all the required zebra components from ftp.indexdata.dk.
The components are as follows -
idzebra-2.0-2.0.32-1.i386.rpm
idzebra-2.0-2.0.32-1.src.rpm
libidzebra-2.0-devel-2.0.32-1.i386.rpm

Dear Mason
In fact I downloaded all the required zebra components from ftp.indexdata.dk.
The components are as follows -
idzebra-2.0-2.0.32-1.i386.rpm
idzebra-2.0-2.0.32-1.src.rpm
libidzebra-2.0-devel-2.0.32-1.i386.rpm
libidzebra-2.0-modules-2.0.32-1.i386.rpm
idzebra-2.0-debuginfo-2.0.32-1.i386.r
It seems like:
3.021 installed vs.
3.01 required
should already succeed, right? What is happening there that wouldn't happen
with 3.00 or 3.000 or 3?
When I check CPAN, it appears consistent with what John reports:

Hi Nicole
Yes it should, actual cost is what the library actually paid.

Oh, one thing, John. Do you know what version of MIME::Lite you have installed?
The command:
perl -M'MIME::Lite 999' -e print
Should fail and produce something like:
MIME::Lite version 999 required--this is only version 3.01.
I'm hoping that backing it off to 3.00 will be reasonable.
Thanks,

Hi John
I am trying to install Koha 3.0 RC1 on Ubuntu 8.04. When I do the
Makefile.PL I get a message that MIME::Lite 3.01 is missing. When I do a
cpan install MIME::Lite I feedback that MIME::Lite is up to date.
Any work arounds?
Thanks,
John

ah, it seems that package is not supplied by any of the three package
sources set up for your server.
You should be able to find an .rpm file for this package in the same
place as the other package you are trying to install, the modules
package. I don't know where to find this package myself, but
Dear Michael
the result of the above command is as follows -

That makes sense - but it's the 'Replacement Cost' that gets
subtracted from the budget ... shouldn't it then be the 'Actual Cost'
that gets subtracted from the budget?

My interpretation was that the "Replacement Cost" is what the patron gets
charged, and that is free to be punitively large (like the retail price of
the book, plus a handling fee) or forgivingly small (e.g. a low flat fee for
children's books that the library may not intend to replace anyway),

Dear friends
last few days I'm trying to install koha 3.0 (RC1) on Fedora 7 as per the
instructions given in the Koha 3.0 suite. I've done with all the Perl modules
(through CPAN utility) and Yaz tools. I'm facing problem with Zebra. See below
the command I issued and the corresponding system

I am wondering what the point of the Actual Cost field is? I had this
discussion with Josh:
Josh - "Well, based on a test I just did, it doesn't ignore actual
cost, but uses it as the actual cost of a single item when receiving
