I want to add some Hindi/Marathi - Indian Languages books in koha
database. Where i will get the option of choosing the language while
cataloging? What changes would i require to do?

my IT-expert is helping me import some marc-records which I have edited in Marc
Edit. But importing the records back into Koha is not working. And the editing
itself does not seem to be the problem, we get the same error message when

Ever since we've installed Koha with Epson receipt printers and Dymo
label writers attached (and various other standard networked printers),
we've had difficulties printing anything else but receipts via Mozilla
Firefox (i.e. web pages, database docs, print-screens, and even Koha
holds reports). I
We use a customized version of Firefox for this, it's basically
portable firefox that we set up with the receipt printers so that
users can use their normal, installed firefox to print "normal" sized
documents on the regular printer.

This is apparently standard behavior--"just the way it is", or at least
that's our experience too. One fix is to run a separate instance of
Firefox using a different profile (run> firefox -ProfileManager), or
install and use Chrome for your non-Koha web browsing.

Either you can enable regional keyboard from System > Preferences >
Keyboard > Layout in Ubuntu 10.04 onwards,
or you can make use Google Transliteration,

Edit /usr/share/koha/opac/htdocs/opac-tmpl/prog/en/modules/opac-detail.tmpl and
add barcode same as other fields.
