I have this same problem on a Dell XPS 13 9360 that shipped with Ubuntu
16.04 preloaded. My dmesg logs look identical to what I am seeing above.

And FWIW, I have fully upgraded all firmware and also tried both Ubuntu
20.10 and Fedora 33. All of these systems show the same behavior.

1. Seems to.
2. I just put the computer to sleep a few times and then use the wifi to
download a big file (like a Fedora iso), and that usually repros. However, it
will repro on it's own eventually.
3. I cannot. I have installed the newest version of Ubuntu now, which hits the
following bug: htt
I also tried all LTS Ubuntus back to 16.04. They all get this log
message a lot.

packages git repo seems to fix this problem entirely for me.

Before pulling in the new firmware, I tried the upstream kernel per the
wiki instructions I found in the Ubuntu wiki. The same problem existed
there. Now, I am running the artful kernel with the bionic firmware
files that I manually copied over as indicated above.

To be clear, I did this:
FWIW, I did the following:
$ git clone git://kernel.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/linux-firmware.git
...
$ cd linux-firmware
$ git checkout bionic
...
$ sudo cp ath10k/QCA6147/hw3.0/* /lib/firmware/ath10k/QCA6147/hw3.0/
Then I rebooted.
The new firmware seems to drop my connections
The latest firmware is not included in the linux-firmware package on
artful. Is this intended? I see that it is only included in the latest
LTS and bionic.
