thumb-drive, and installed x86_64 when I downloaded the x86..
Subsequently that test was useless..

I know this got marked as 'invalid' but I'm experiencing this now on
18.10 with this driver after updating to 18.0.4.1 (I was not

We have worked around this by doing dry test installs of azure kernel inside
containers, and wait until that is successfully getting installed.
We also tried to look for a set of packages for linux-azure - from linux-azure,
headers, image, but that also didn't help.

I've had some intermittent Wi-Fi issues after upgrading to 18.10.
I started with the 16.04 installed from Dell, then did the upgrade to
18.04 and then 18.10. Since going to 18.10 (which comes with the new
Gnome Shell) I've had issues with WiFi basically become unresponsive

Missed the reply on this thread, my apologies.
I tried now to install the packages from those ppa's, however apt will not
detect the kernels.
I've added the ppa repo and did an #apt update, but apt will then not detect
neither of the kernels, so I mus t be doing something wrong.

again, I was able to fix this via the following, first cat boot.scr on
the primary partition, there's a bunch of binary at the start of the
issue.
If I run "sudo chvt 1", it will not switch out of that tty again until I
reboot my laptop again. Using 2 through 12 all work and switch the
display to that tty.

My system is overclocked so that it's fine for daily use but when I do
encoding it can sometimes stop due to thermals.
It also directly impacts benchmarking, since I don't see the temperature
