Ive made a second full-installation of Ubuntu 22 latest ISO and updated the
system.
There is one really interesting note: The same issue Ubuntu 24 suffers is now
with Ubuntu 22 as well: The sound sink does not work (despite the sound source
working)!
As this Ubuntu 22 got Kernel 6.
I'm using 24.04 LTS.
Upgrade to 6.11.0-17-generic did not resolve the flickering screen.
It still occurs when my mouse cursor is in the lower part of the screen.

On my PC the resolution is still wrong.
If I click on "Show Apps" system becomes unresponsive.
I was able to open terminal with ctrl+alt+t
click on files icon in the dock opens the nautilus window, /var/crash contains
only kdump_lock
