I am experiencing the same in wayland, but only if I am explicitly using
the intel integrated interface. If I switch to the nvidia card,

Both kernels 6.8.0-50 AND 6.8.0-51 Make cursor jumpy and laggy on HP
Omen 16. This was an issue until Linux Mint 22 came out, then they
worked okay. It is still a little laggy but usually clears up. By with
50 and 50 it's terrible. 6.8.0-49 work okay but can be a bit laggy unt
My problem has gone with kernel "6.8.0-49-generic #49~22.04.1-Ubuntu"
after disabling the VirtualBox drivers and updating all amdgpu
linux/Xorg drivers and firmware packages to the latest ones in Ubuntu
22.04 repositories.
