After a fresh 23.10 install I have noticed that booting up my PC in the
morning was taking a long time. Checking journalctl there are hundreds
of warnings generated every second, and not only at boot time (see
below). Searching for this problem I found a stopgap solution by a

I have a Dell precision that came with Ubuntu preinstalled and just did Ubuntu
updates on that.
So maybe something in the Dell configuration makes it stick at this kernel

The Dell servers comes with SRIOV disabled by default in the BIOS while
our NICs have SRIOV enabled by default on most out-of-the-box
configurations.
Solving this difference solves the issue.
On Dell BIOS under 'Integrated Devices' change 'SR-IOV Global Enable' to
'Enabled'.
Or you can disable
the quick fix for this is to run 'sudo apt install linux-generic', which
would pull the latest generic (= distro) kernel
Your hw is old enough that it shouldn't require the 6.5 oem kernel :)

changing XHC from "enabled" to disabled does resolve this.
To disable ‘XHC’, do:

Instead, it is a Bluetooth Audio Transmitter Adapter
It shows itself as a USB Audio device, and any audio sent to it will be
