I got similar symptom, but with NVIDIA driver and Lenovo Thunderbolt 4
dock. Looks like for it happens after connecting dock back, but screen
goes black already when disconnecting from the dock.

way that is not upstreamable to Debian.
Please change debian/control to have arch specific depends on kexec-

I also updated my ThinkPad L590 from 20.04 LTS to 22.04.03 LTS (Kenel Version
6.2.0-36-generic) and encountered the same bug. The system was also hanging
after "Loading initial ramdisk". I was able to resolve the issue by disableing
the "Security Chip"/TPM 2.0 module in BIOS.

I made two 'journalctl -b -1' files, one after rebooting into the 'not working'
kernel, the other after rebooting into the 'does work' kernel. It seems I can
only attach one file in this comment, so I added the 'not working' version.
As to not using the kerne

narrow down intermediate kernel releases to identify what's changed to
cause this regression.
