The image failed to bring up networking in the initramfs, and thus failed to
find iscsi root.
this could be user error.
Here is what I did to publish the image.
I understand that this is not something that be changed easily, and some

The backport from bug #1786902 does not introduce CONFIG_ISM. I see in
Linus' tree it is introduced by 684b89bc39ce "s390/ism: add device
driver for internal shared memory." Is only this commit needed or is
there more that will need to be backported?

Hello.
One more thing: since kernel page-table isolation is already available
on 32-Bit x86 systems (see Bug Description), maybe "SpectreAndMeltdown"
information page (see 1.) should be updated, because of such a statement
(see "Current Status"):
"No fix is currently available for Meltdown on 32-
Tested with the 4.15.0-34-generic kernel from -proposed and this also
solves the issue for me.
