Yesterday I too upgraded to Utopic (so now at 3.16.0-24) from Ubuntu Gnome
14.04. And for the first time, my L440 could scan and connect to wifi networks.
Though connection was successful in the first try, but there was no data
transfer, I could not ping any IP address. 'ifconfig' did show the c
Humm... Verified the btusb.c in utopic/upstream and yes some IDs provided by
previous versions should be submitted again. I'll check the differences and
send patches for these missing IDs.

When I turned on laptop, on status bar didnt have bluetooth icon
(setting>bluetooth>cant turn on/off). After that, I restarted laptop, The

Hi, I've got the same problem like Paul. Ubuntu 14.04.1 32-bit, laptop with ATI
4379 Serial ATA Controller (designed by Silicon Image) and a SanDisk SSD.
I already inserted a SiI3512A in a Desktop-PC with the same results, HDD works
fine, SSD can't be accessed in any way.

what the installation command means. As you are using a 64-bit OS, you
would want to follow the amd64 instructions.
As well, there isn't a high likelihood of making your install

Yes, intel_powerclamp is set to default to 85C as the default thermal
limit. It spawns these kidle_inject threads to help slow down and cool
the cpu. I believe there is a way to set the threshold higher, but it's
probably not a good idea. It would be better to see what is causing the
cpu to get

Hi, I use Tenda w522u dual band wireless adapter (RT3572) and although
it CAN see networks and CAN connect to them, the bandwith is really
terrible. The internet is very slow although with another wireless
adapter it is much better (600Kbits/sec versus 15Mbit/sec aproximately)
