Public bug reported:
I have been using GTX 1050ti and I didn't have issues with drivers etc.
Now, I bought RTX 4060ti 16gb and I have a lot of issues with that. In
settings -> about I see this llvmpipe (LLVM 15.0.7, 256 bits) instead of
my GPU.
Hardware:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 7600
GPU: RTX 4060ti 16gb
I understood that this should be OK in 6.8, not sure. In Ubuntu based that is
available, I removed 6.5.
Personally, even 6.8 has other issues for me, so I decided to use original 5.15.

I cannot install the Nvidia proprietary driver because no matter what I
do, I get dependency mismatches that I cannot resolve.

I have the same problem, but with Ubuntu 22. Using xset does resolve
the issue, but then the problem is that when my computer does go to
sleep, the monitor does not power down -- the screen is just blank but
still powered.

It is hard to reproduce this situation, because it only occurs sometimes I
noticed.
Can I call the 'apport-collect 1878059' more often (until this behaviour
occurs)?
If not - I'll attach a kernel's log between a 'systemctl suspend' and playing

How about the ifconfig command to bring the interface up? This just
shows that the drivers have loaded.

Can you try bringing up the interface manually, with ifconfig and a
static IP address? The driver that's already in 4.10 should work as-is.
I need to see the console output as the driver tries to bring the
interface up, and dhclient hides all that.

Yes, the REP has the Atheros 8033, which uses the same driver.

there's a way to automatically load only the PHY drivers that are on the

standard procedure for most Ethernet drivers on any platform.

Also, you may need to load the at803x driver before bringing up the
interface. I've noticed in some kernels, the link doesn't come up
unless you load this driver first. I don't know why it's a requirement
only on some kernels.

You need to back-port some patches from 4.11 if you want the driver to
work. Look at our 4.10 rebase for details.
