bluez 5.78 appears to resolve this for me (at least symptom wise,
haven't checked the first attempt logs since didn't notice any bad
behavior). is the fix cherry picked in

thing? haven't tried downgrading to that package version
also the more I look at it the more the lock seems associated with the
speed in which I type the password rather than the waiting time I
mentioned earlier. but maybe both contribute?

Yes, bios is up to date. Things used to work, and regressed toward the
end of october last year, probably after 23.10 release, but not
immediately after upgrading to mantic ( see original untriaged bug here:

Linux kernel 6.11.0-rc3 crash log
As with the other comments, I also tested on a current kernel and
observed a crash very soon after the link became active. This is the
relevant part of the log from a 6.11.0-rc3 kernel, built today.

Find the problem, it isn't a broken/unsupported DKMS module for my case.
The system's default gcc/g++ version is 13. While installing CUDA 11.8,
I used update-alternatives to change the gcc/g++ version to 11. Switch
back to gcc/g++ 13 solved this issue.

Latest linux kernel completely kills my Wifi. Have had to use the GRUB
boot loader to revert the kernel back twice. Kernel 5.15.0-67 works
perfectly with my wifi.
In network settings the wifi option is entirely missing when I am on the

I am experiencing the same problem. The trackpad seems laggy after
suspend. Also, it seems to commonly get "stuck" in two finger scrolling,
where after lifting one of the two fingers it stays in scrolling mode.

now works with kernel 5.11.0, but it has problem with Nvidia GPU and the

Use HMM helper function hmm_vma_fault() to get physic
seems this gets triggered by the dolphin emulator, but not under disco
kernel 5.0.0-25 with an otherwise eoan system.

Public bug reported:
In eoan on a 5.3 kernel, have noticed a few incidents of the system
becoming sluggish/unresponsive, which appears to be caused by low
available memory. top is reporting 13 of 16G are "used", but adding up
the memory reported by top sorted by memory usage appears like it shoul
any chance we can see this in an ubuntu kernel despite the lack of
response on lkml?

fwiw, i tried to build 5.0.0.20.21 with v2 applied, and was able to
reproduce the bug (I may have built it incorrectly though? I git
applied the two patches from a clone of git://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-
kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/disco and then did `fakeroot
debian/rules clean` ; `AUTOBUI
looks like no responses to v2, anything I can do to help move this
along? could it at least make it into an updated kernel build with
security patches, if not the ubuntu patch set?

>From reading the logs that's what it looks like -- it appears the lid
was closed at 21:48:40 and then suspend was successful at 21:49:10 or
21:49:25, but then the system immediately resumes at 21:49:25, and
doesn't fully recover
