Upgraded from Ubuntu 15.10 where suspend workes flawlessly. After
upgrade, putting machine in suspend turns the monitor black and
everything seem to be off, though the fan still spins, the power light
is on and the battery is trained. Nothing seem to wake it up (Meaning

the battery life actually do seem rather persistant if I turn of turbo
boost, enable all powertop tunes and run in powersave. Tough the battery

The battery does seem to still have more battery life than stated by the
indicator and acpi command. Used for aroung five hours now and 23% left.
Turbo turned off and powersave governor. Maybe the bug is in the
reading?
But why is the turbo mode enabled and the cpu running on full speed as
default

slower and I still have to be around 2 meters from the router. Further
away and ping reaches 1000ms and bandwidth is extremely lowered.

Tried enabling proposed repo and installed linux image and headers
(3.13.0-24) and linux-firmware linux-firmware (1.127.2), the latter had
a related changelog with the latest ucode module removed due regression.
However no change. After login I get a really nice ping answers the
first 4-6 times and

Ok, I first tried to add "options iwlwifi 11ac_disable=1" to
modprobe.conf. No change. Bandwidth is still horrible and everything.
Then I added "options iwlwifi 11n_disable=1" as well. No change.
After each new row I ran:

This bug is probably related to the iwlwifi kernel module, as statet
above. The module should have added support for the Intel 7260 chipset
since Linux 3.12. Ubuntu 14.04 uses 3.13. Has there been a regression,
perhaps?
