Hello,
I experience the same issue. The kernels 6.8.x until 6.8.12 dont boot on
my machine. It starts to work after 6.9.x. I tried to get some logs to
see what's wrong but I only get

Also tried today latest 24.04 updates which included kernel "6.8.0-47-generic".
System freezes after some minimal activities.
System only useable with "nomodeset" kernel paramter set during
boot/grub, which gives bad display settings. (1024x786, slow reacting
graphics).
